Rites63 focused on the process of conducting various ceremonies.
These ceremonies involved many creative aspects: creating objects, performance art, writing scripts, singing, interacting, and synergy. The experience was pretty dang miraculous, with audience members, from 8 to 88, who were brilliantly ready and willing to participate. |
SitesThe ceremonies took place in 5 cathedrals, which were constructed ahead of August 14-16 (see sched.)
Dividing up the 63 Hours into 34 hours of prep time and 29 hours of fest time allowed more calendar flexibility for more folks to join in. These cathedrals were sacred spaces, welcoming participants to thoughtfully interact with them in between ceremonies. |
